Best Missed Flight Ever

September 5th, 2006 by Mike

I attempted to fly from Cleveland to New York out of Cleveland’s lesser airport. Having never been to this airport, I got lost and missed my flight. I am glad I did because I got to experience the wonder that is the Akron-Canton airport.

A few highlights:

No line at the check in counter.

No line at the security check point.

Free (and fast) wireless throughout the entire airport (and lots of electrical sockets!)

Arby’s is opening a location next to my gate.

I will be flying out of here from here on out (assuming I can find my way here again).

Everytime I suggest eating Arby’s, my girlfiend does her best impression of Ralphie from the Simpsons saying, “I’m so hungry I could eat Arby’s.” And the she infers that the meat is actually horse. And we drive past with me looking longingly out the window.

Everytime she goes out of town, I sneak down to the Arby’s and get the Giant with curly fires and a Jamocha shake. Horse, evidently, tastes really good with Arby’s sauce.

Did you know that the directions are conveniently located right on the website? All we had to do was stay on Rt. 8 and it becomes 77. Next time will be a breeze.

There is in an Arby’s in Columbia that Jas and I dined at last night. Classy. I actually adore Arby’s. The Chicken Cordon Bleu is mostly purchased in bulk.
