Pistons 2 - Cavs 2 - Lebron 1

June 1st, 2007 by Mike

My favorite quote so far about James’ performance last night:

No matter the words, James’ Game 5 may be the sort of stuff that saves leagues. You can almost hear the advertisements now: “Can the best player in the world beat the best team in the world? The Finals … Thursday at 9.”

    The good thing about Lebron:

He has me dreaming about my fade away jumper from just inside the 3-point line.

    The bad thing about Lebron:

In those dreams I can no longer hit wide open shots if fewer than 3 people are coming to guard me.

It’s off like nabikov - i don’t know what that means but it looks like Cleveland is in live for yet another let down - man when was the last time ANY pro team won in cleveland.

Come on man… you should know this:

Dec. 27, 1964, when the Browns upset the Baltimore Colts.

We have the longest city wide losing streak in history. 123 combined seasons and counting (Browns, Cavs, and Indians).

Wow - I mean… I honestly feel for that city then. I mean the only think I’ve ever had against Cleveland is our rivalries and the fact that they got to keep their records and name for football AND were guaranteed the next team coming back to them.

But damn… I’ll honestly be rooting for the cavs.
